Boketto Restaurant website — Minneapolis MediterrAsian steakhouse

The brand.

Boketto is brought to life by the team at Kaskaid Hospitality in the heart of St. Louis Park's West End, Minneapolis. The concept is a first of its kind: a MediterrAsian steakhouse that merges the rich traditions of a steakhouse with Japanese elegance and Mediterranean zest. Japanese A-5 wagyu and Australian jade wagyu sourced from the best in the world. A cocktail program built for the discerning palate. Signature dishes that tell a story of tradition meeting creativity — Japanese milk bread, hamachi crudo, torched foie gras Boketto roll.

Their brand line says everything: "Boketto is more than a restaurant; it's the daydream, the destination." That is not marketing language for the sake of it — it is an honest description of what Kaskaid Hospitality built. The positioning is simultaneously upscale and intimate, fine dining and genuinely welcoming. An experience beyond the ordinary, priced to match.

Boketto had everything required to win: the concept, the kitchen, the sourcing, the space, the team behind it. What they needed was a digital presence that carried the same weight before a guest ever walked through the door.

The challenge.

A full-service upscale restaurant needs its website to do far more jobs simultaneously than most businesses realise. It has to sell the mood to someone who has never heard of you — the warmth, the intimacy, the standard of the kitchen — within the first few seconds of a visit. It has to present multiple menus (dinner, social hour, bar bites, dessert) in a way that feels natural to browse, not overwhelming. It has to handle reservations without friction, routing diners to OpenTable without breaking the brand experience. It has to surface the private dining offering clearly enough that event planners searching for a Minneapolis private dining venue actually find it.

And underneath all of that, it has to be built for local search. The decision to visit a new restaurant rarely starts with a direct search for that restaurant's name. It starts with queries like "steakhouse Minneapolis", "fine dining West End", "private dining Minneapolis event". If Boketto doesn't appear for those queries — or appears but delivers a site that doesn't match the quality of the experience — that guest goes somewhere else.

Most restaurant websites solve for two or three of these jobs and fail at the others. The menu is buried. The private dining page is missing. The Google listing has wrong hours and no photos. The reservation button sends the user to a generic OpenTable landing page that breaks the atmosphere entirely. The sum of those small failures is real revenue walking out the door.

A fine dining restaurant earns the reservation before the guest ever walks through the door. The website is the first course — it sets the expectation for everything that follows.

What we built.

We built the full Boketto website from the ground up — every page, every section, structured to serve the full range of intent a visitor might arrive with. The site needed to work as a discovery experience for someone who just heard about Boketto, as a conversion surface for someone already decided and looking for the reservation button, and as a credibility signal for event planners evaluating private dining venues.

Custom restaurant site built to match the MediterrAsian fine dining positioning — not a template, not a theme
Multi-menu architecture — dinner, social hour, bar, bar bites, dessert, and guest appreciation menus all navigable without friction
The Capri Room private dining page — purpose-built for corporate and social event planners searching for private dining in Minneapolis
OpenTable reservation integration throughout — embedded on every relevant page without breaking the brand atmosphere
Loyalty program integration — Boketto LOYALTY surfaced naturally as part of the dining experience, not buried in a footer
Mobile-first responsive design — the majority of restaurant searches happen on a phone, often hours before the reservation
Semantic HTML structure — every section, heading, and element built to tell search engines exactly what Boketto is and where it is
Performance-optimised image delivery — full-bleed food photography that loads fast and looks right on every screen

The private dining page required particular care. The Capri Room — divisible into East and West for up to 30 guests each, or combined for up to 66 — serves a completely different visitor than someone looking for a dinner reservation. Corporate events, milestone celebrations, presentations. They're comparing multiple venues, they need to know capacity, AV capabilities, catering options, and who to contact. We structured that page to answer every question an event planner would have, then made it easy to find for the search queries they actually use.

The menu presentation was the other major architectural decision. Boketto runs multiple menus across different occasions — dinner, social hour, bar, bar bites, dessert, and a guest appreciation menu. Presenting all of that in a way that feels curated rather than overwhelming required real thought about navigation hierarchy, not just page layout. A guest arriving for a first dinner date and a corporate event planner evaluating the space have almost nothing in common in terms of what they need to find. The site was built to serve both.

The SEO work.

We ran the full local SEO setup alongside the build. A beautiful site that doesn't appear for the right queries is a brochure, not a business asset. For Boketto, the target queries are specific: Minneapolis steakhouse, fine dining Minneapolis, upscale steakhouse Minneapolis, private dining Minneapolis, West End restaurant Minneapolis. These are searches with clear commercial intent — someone who types "steakhouse Minneapolis" is deciding where to eat tonight or this weekend. Appearing credibly for those queries is not a vanity metric; it is the difference between a full restaurant and empty tables.

Google Business Profile setup and optimisation — hours, photos, categories, and attributes configured to rank in the local map pack
Schema markup — LocalBusiness, Restaurant, and Menu structured data so search engines understand exactly what Boketto is and what it serves
Local keyword architecture — every page structured around the searches Minneapolis diners and event planners actually run
Geographic targeting — St. Louis Park, West End, Minneapolis — mapped to the queries that bring in guests from the metro area
On-page technical SEO — title tags, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, canonical URLs, and sitemap configured correctly from day one
Core Web Vitals — page speed and layout stability optimised so Google's experience signals work for Boketto, not against it

The private dining SEO required its own attention. Someone planning a corporate dinner in Minneapolis is not searching for Boketto by name. They are searching "private dining Minneapolis", "event venue Minneapolis", "private room for dinner Minneapolis". We built The Capri Room page to rank for those queries specifically, with the content, structure, and authority signals that put it in front of decision-makers at the moment they're comparing venues.

The Google Business Profile is often the first thing a potential guest sees — and in local search it is the thing that gets them to click. A poorly configured profile loses reservations before the site has a chance to convert them.

What we did not do.

We did not use a restaurant template. The MediterrAsian positioning, the "daydream destination" brand language, the quality of the food photography — none of that survives contact with a generic hospitality theme. The site needed to carry the brand weight of what Kaskaid Hospitality built. That requires building it properly, not selecting a pre-made layout and dropping in photos.

We did not separate the SEO work from the build. Local SEO implemented after a site is live is always a rework. Schema added to a page structure that wasn't designed for it requires restructuring. Keywords worked into headings that weren't written for them read as stuffed rather than natural. We ran both simultaneously so the SEO was structural, not cosmetic.

We did not bury the private dining offering. Most restaurant websites treat private dining as a footer link because it wasn't in the original site structure. For Boketto, The Capri Room is a meaningful revenue line that serves a completely different customer. It needed its own page, its own SEO, and its own visibility in the navigation.

The result.

Boketto has a digital presence that matches the standard of the experience inside. Someone who discovers Boketto from a "steakhouse Minneapolis" search lands on a site that delivers the world immediately — the wagyu, the cocktails, the intimacy of the space, the MediterrAsian concept that doesn't exist anywhere else in the city. That first impression is doing real work: it converts discovery into reservation intent, and reservation intent into the click on the OpenTable button.

The Capri Room is findable. Event planners searching for private dining in Minneapolis encounter a page that answers every question they have — capacity, AV, catering, contact — without having to chase it down from the homepage. That visibility is a pipeline for corporate dining revenue that didn't exist before.

The Google Business Profile is configured correctly: right categories, right hours, right photos, right attributes. In a city where the map pack decides which three restaurants diners choose between, that configuration matters more than most restaurant operators realise. Boketto is positioned to hold and grow its local search presence as the restaurant builds its review base and citation authority.
